In
Natalie Merkur Rose and Amy Wasser Simpson's report
from the field, they begin by noting the number
of people that have expressed their thanks for caring
enough to ask about the fate of unaffiliated and
interfaith families. Their efforts on behalf of
a Community Outreach Task Force resulted in numerous
focus groups, interviews, and surveys to garner
information on the task of outreach. Other members
of our second "Who's Who" have concentrated their
efforts on education, family-oriented programs (like
"shabbat backpacks" and parent-teacher programming)
and sensitivity training. These approaches are yet
further examples of the work of outreach that is
being done from coast to coast. |
