The Four Species are used
in a ritual every day of Sukkot. The hadasim and
aravot are bound with the lulav. One holds the etrog
in left hand and the lulav, hadasim, and aravot
in the other. The following blessing is said :
Praised are You, Lord or
God, Ruler of the Universe, who has made us
holy with his commandments and commanded us
concerning the waving of the lulav.
And the lulav is shaken in all
six directions, left, right, up, down, front, back.
