  1. Dear Friends: I want strongly recommend this study, and urge Jewish community professionals to read it. As the adult child of an intermarriage, and the facilitator of a new international organization for the adult children of intermarriage, the Half-Jews Network (www.half-jews.net), I cannot emphasize enough the importance of JOI’s common sense, practical recommendations for ways to bring the adult children of intermarriage who are interested in Judaism into the Jewish community. Kavod to JOI. Cordially, Robin Margolis

  2. This wonderful study and it will have important social and spirtual assests for all children of intermarriages between Jewish and non-Jewish parents. Being raised by a Jewish mother and Italian Catholic father, there was always tension. I had to stop going to Temple when I was 14 and it wasn’t until my mid-30s that I re-established my Jewish identiy which I will never forego again.

  3. Dear Friends; I wanted to let people know that my group, the Half-Jewish Network, will be discussing the JOI report for our October 20 dinner. Also, we have a new name and website: The Half-Jewish Network at www.half-jewish.net. Cordially, Robin

  4. Dear Friends: I just wanted to re-emphasize that this is a very important report. It was instrumental in opening a dialogue within my group that was partially responsible for our name change from “Half-Jews Network” to “Half-Jewish Network.” I strongly suggest that other Jewish groups interested in increasing their membership schedule group luncheons and dinners discussing this report. You won’t be bored! Cordially, Robin Margolis

  7. Thank you for posting this study on line. I am half-Jewish and currently taking a Jewish Studies course at UNC-Chapel Hill. Since the class is about Jewish Culture,I have decided to do my research paper about the place of children such as us within the larger Jewish community…your paper will be a huge help to me.
