Temple Sholom in Broomall

Temple Sholom, founded in 1956 is known for its warmth and long-standing practice of inclusion. Individuals are welcome regardless of their race, religion, family status or sexual orientation. We value the participation of non-Jewish partners and extended family members in the life of our congregation

Temple Sholom in Broomall provides wonderful educational opportunities for students of all ages including adults, first rate music, moving worship, rewarding social action experiences, support during times of need and so much more. We are a proud member of the Union for Reform Judaism with an abiding love and respect for tradition and a passion for integrating Jewish values and celebration into every aspect of our lives.

We work with organizations such as InterFaithways, ACAJE/JOP and The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's Kehillah of Delaware County to provide a diverse array of educational, entertaining and affordable programming for the Temple Sholom members and the greater community at large. Example - we have recently been selected by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council to host a lecture on "Blacks and Jews on Stage and Screen" which will be open to the public, taped and televised on season 2 of the "Humanities on the Road".
