Kol Haverim: The Finger Lakes Community for Humanistic Judaism

Kol Haverim is a secular Jewish congregation in Ithaca, NY for those who desire non-theistic ways to celebrate their identity, culture and heritage.Specifically, we offer:

Celebrations of Jewish holidays - the High Holidays, Chanukah, Passover, etc. for the whole family;

Social, cultural and educational programs and experiences for adults;

Secular Jewish Sunday Cultural School classes for children;

A non-traditional way to affiliate with the Jewish community;

An affirmation of our contemporary Jewish identity while preserving our connection to the past and linking us to the future.

Most of our programs take place at The Tompkins County Lifelong Center in Ithaca and are open to the public at little or no charge.

We welcome families from mixed religious backgrounds, all sexual orientations, and non-traditional families who wish to provide their children with a Jewish identity.
