Shalom b'Harim

Our mission statement is: We are coming together as a community to provide a place of Jewish worship, learning, and assembly, and to engage various other activities that will promote spiritual and educational welfare of the Jewish people of the North Georgia Mountains.

Our focus is in the building of a caring Jewish community, in the spirit of our shared traditions. We are committed to a participatory and democratic process both in congregational governance and in worship.

We hope to encourage and support one another as we grow in our studies and in loving-kindness and social responsibilities.

We have members that are interfaith couples, young singles to young families to retirees, and from all Jewish backgrounds and movements. We welcome anyone who wishes to learn about Judaism.

We have a no-dues structure, and a Sunshine committee so no one is left out of events. We gather for holidays and services. We do not judge, and we welcome anyone who wants to worship with us.
