Congregation Bet Haverim

Bet Haverim was founded in 1985 by gay and lesbian Jews because there was no other place where people could be themselves and feel comfortable. It was from this beginning that we have been committed to welcoming all Jews and their loved ones. We recognize that many other Jews have encountered obstacles to belonging to Jewish community and we work to eliminate them so people can connect to their rich Jewish heritage, and their loved ones of other faiths can feel at home, too.
