Jewish Center of Venice

We are a welcoming congregation that agrees to be "one word" Jews -- we embrace the parts of Judaism that we share and try to understand the parts that we don't. We welcome interfaith families and same gender couples, and any one who chooses to learn more about Judaism. We participate in interfaith activities and try to carry our joy for our traditions into the community. For example, we have Hanukkah in the local park with our Living Menorah, made up of children holding candles; we offer refreshments for all and encourage interaction and play for those of all ages.
